These kits draught proof sash windows up to 2.1metre high x 2.1metre wide.

Notes :
Sash windows over 1 meter wide - Existing top staff bead is retained. Should the top bead need replacing, then a matching staff bead without the pile carrier is available from most timber yards.

Sash windows over 2.1 m high – Use off cuts from the bottom bead, these should be joined 'on the mitre' and the pile continued through to the top of the frame. Joints that are made on the high of the window should not be noticeable.

Tools & Materials required

• Protective clothing, dust mask, safety goggles.
• General wood working tools: hammer, pincers, blunt chisel (25+ mm), paint scraper, screw drivers, hand plane, craft knife, nail punch, mastic & gun, paint brush, bathroom scales, mouse (a piece of string with a small lead weight on one end).
• Power tools: Router with an 8 mm straight bit
• Useful tools: Power planer & sander
• Dust sheets, sandpaper, quick drying acrylic primer, exterior grade decorators caulk, 2 part epoxy filler, 25 mm carpet tacks, 40 mm panel pins.
